Our Primary Focus: is the sale of Real Estate, Heavy Equipment & Machinery at Auction. We conduct the Largest Heavy Equipment & Machinery consignment auctions in SE Montana.
Previous Auctions Sellers Include: Custer County, Rosebud County, City of Miles City, Oftedal Construction Inc., The US Marshalls Office, FSA, Stockman Bank, John Muggli Contracting, Jarrett Construction, Western Energy Coal Mine, Mid West Truck Parts, Brush Truck Repair & many others. Most if not all the above consignors are repeat customers both as buyers & sellers.
Equipment Marketing: We use a multi faceted approach in marketing equipment. For example we use Trade journals, Direct mail, Email blasts, Full color flyers, News paper ads, Internet marketing & good old fashion word of mouth. Our data base includes over 15,000 heavy equipment contractors in the immediate 4 state area. We also maintain a worldwide database of internet buyers that have participated in our auctions online. We also maintain a strong database of Farmers and Ranchers across MT, SD, WY & ND.
Our Permanent Facility: We have a 5000 sq. ft auction center situated on 10 acres, with road frontage on the Hwy. 12 / I-94 Business loop in Miles City. We have loading /unloading ramps, loader tractors & full line of equipment cleaning equipment.
Meet our staff: Christy Drivdahl is our primary clerk and secondary auctioneer. She has clerked in over 95,000 individual lots; that is experience you can count on. She sells frequently & thoroughly enjoys the auction business. Her other accomplishments in life are being a mother of 4 great kids, married 14 years to Matt & being a Board Certified Family Practice physician. Christy’s experience with people make’s her a natural for the auction business.
Matt Smith is the primary auctioneer & marketing specialist. Know for his sense of humor on the auction block, he has sold millions of dollars worth on Real Estate & Personal property in his 15 years in the auction business. Matt is a creative thinker. He has a strong work ethic that translates into dollars on auction day. His primary focus is marketing and selling of Real Estate, Heavy Equipment & Machinery. He routinely attends both State & National Auctioneers association meetings to further his continuing education.
Leslie Janshen is our primary internet clerk & office manager. Nothing gets by Leslie. Every auction is balanced penny perfect before anyone goes home. Leslie has an infectious appetite for life. Her strong work ethic is a positive influence on the whole auction team.
Brian Certain has worked with us a floor manager for many years. He is primarily responsible for the flow of an auction. He is an accomplished bid catcher and all around good hand. If a customer needs help, Brian always answers their questions.
Peggy Certain is our main cashier & buyer registration clerk. She has millions of dollars worth of experience with handling money & people. She is married to Brian and together they complement our auction business.
Wyatt Smith. Although Wyatt is a young man, he is our key boss & a set up man. Wyatt is in charge of making sure all equipment is started & running before, during & after the auction.
Cyra Smith. Cyra is working her way into the concessions booth at our auctions. It won’t be long & she will be running the show. She enjoys working with Verlin & Bernadette Miller serving good food.
