1983 Spartan Motors Inc. Fire Truck / Water Tender.

Runs, drives, and stops.  Odometer shows 17,100 miles.  Hourmeter shows 2,075 hours.  8V92 Detroit + Allison Automatic.  Recently removed from service.  Has a 3,000 gallon water tank and pump.

 

We were told the tank has a leak in one of the upper corners and fills up only to around 2,800 gallons.  We were told someone climbed in the tank and welded it once but it is leaking again.

 

 Everything was drained when it was last used.  This truck is going to need batteries.
